Hi Don! Well hello from Whitehorse, Carcross, and the White pass. We just got here and followed the route of the gold rush in rather more comfort. We are heading north unfortunately towards Dawson and then up the Dempster highway to the arctic circle. Judith wants her picture there at solstice (june 20th). I wish that we had thought of Victoria--I didn't really register that you were there. NIce to hear of Richard Bochonko, I always wondered where he went. Please say hello to him for both of us. We'll keep you posted but it looks as though we will have to cross paths in France--we are hoping to go there in the fall. If not come and see us en route ---we'll be hanging around Kingston (Juidith is running a big international observing consortium using the VLA and I offer words of encouragement and baggage handling). cheers from both of us Dick and Judith
